The Dune

The dads took the kids for a drive and played on this dune.  Looks like they had loads of fun!

Rocky Pointe

It was our first extended family vacation ever!  The Osiers joined us which made my mom happy because our initals of the families spell HELL, add the Osiers and you get HELLO.  There were twenty three of us and we had a fabulous time.  The weather was perfect!

All the girls (except Jane) had their hair braided.
Jane looking out to sea...

Winston loves the beach  best of all.  He is always sad sad to leave it.  I wonder if someday he will live near the sea and be a surfer dude.  He has the hair going for him!
So handsome...

Faces of Vacation

Jason captured this image of my beautiful niece Anna. He took it on the beach after she had come out of the ocean. I love this little girl!
This is my sister (in law) and Noah.  I love having another sister, she brings so much to our family.
My mom and dad love the beach.
Hannah Osier
Caleb Osier
I have to say I don't like family pictures.  This is me trying to have a good attitude trying to get twenty three people to be still and smile.
Julie Anne is a part of our family and fits right in.  David and Bonny have adopted her for a season!
Jason loves family picture day and takes lots of himself.  Here he is with my sister!
Benjamin decided to make the photo session a bit more interesting.  As the timer went off he ran towards the camera.  I love looking at everyone's faces in the background.  This photo makes me laugh!
Winston my beach lover...
Rebecca fully enjoyed the beach.
Mordecai is a darling cautious little guy.  His language is so cute, he always refers to himself as Mordecai.  All he wanted to do was throw seashells in the big pool.

The Fiddler on the Roof

Orangewood Elementary has an amazing music teacher, Mr. Paulson.  Every year he puts on a musical... not just your run of the mill school play.  It is a huge under taking.  The students perform on stage at Washington Highschool.  There are two full casts of actors, amazing backdrops, props, costumes, etc.  This was Benjamin's second year.  Last year he was the lead, Charlie in Willy Wonka Jr.  This year he wanted a smaller part and was cast as a rabbi and a Russian soldier.
This was the last night of the production and Benjamin was pretty worn out.  Rabbi meets cell phone!
Quinn was also in the play and was cast as the Russian soldier who marries the youngest of the three daughters.  He did a great job.  Ryan was also in the play.

The cousins as soldiers.....
Here they are on stage singing their hearts out.  I always tear up during the performances!
Here they are backstage waiting to go on.  Benjamin and all his buddies....

Thanks to Orangewood,  Mr. Paulson and Coach Swartz for making this all happen.  I love our school!

A New Camera!

Jason gave me the best gift!  A new camera!! Here are the first photos I captured with it.  Winston loves spending time with Emolyn.  I put her to bed here the other night and she started off crying a bit.  Two minutes into her tears over being put to bed, Winston came out with tears in his eyes "Mom, I can't stand to hear her cry!"  What a sweet tenderhearted little guy I have!
Nora also adores Emolyn!
Benjamin loves Emolyn, but this is how I find him spending his days!!  He reads and reads and reads.  I am always up for suggestions of good books to point him towards!  He is in his school play this weekend The Fiddler on the Roof.  He plays the rabbi.  We are excited for another Orangewood production.

Look How Little They Are!

Here are my three kids!  How time has flown.  Benjamin is eleven, Winston is nine and Nora is seven!  It is hard to believe they were ever this small.
